In this 4-week class we will work on creating space and openness in our hips and spines and building strength in our core and back.

The structure of each class will be more or less as follows:

  • We spend the first part moving the joints and spine through various ranges of motion, preparing them for the next parts. Also strengthening the core so that it can support us through the rest of our practice
  • During the second part, we work on engaging and activating legs, core, and back body through a stronger practice, where there are usually options to choose from
  • The final part is for coming back down to the ground by working on opening and creating more space in hips, shoulders, legs, and lower back
  • We close the class in Savasana

Classes are held in English.

Small groups to give you personal attention

We will meet in group of 4-5 participants

The yoga space offers mats, blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters and meditation pillows, but you can feel free to bring your own if you like

Meet Maryam

This is Maryam. I’ve been practicing yoga for 7 years. Yoga has accompanied and guided me to keep a healthy connection with my body and listen to it. In January 2020, I started my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training by Yoga Alliance. Since then I have taught progressive 4 to 6-week long courses for beginners, yoga for climbers, and intermediate classes.
